An AI-native deployment partner
for complex companies.
An AI-native deployment partner redesigns how a piece of work runs, then builds, deploys and operates the AI agents that do it, until the work meets a standard agreed before the build.
Buyers also call this an AI implementation partner or an AI deployment partner. Ortelian is one. We work on site with your team, change the work, and run agents inside the systems you already use, on a platform we host in the EU.
What it is
One team, from the map of the work to the work in use.
Most AI projects stall in the gap between a plan and a working system. One party writes down how the work should change, another builds something, and a third is left to run it. An AI-native deployment partner closes that gap by owning all three. The same people map the work, redesign it around what AI can now do, build the agents and keep them running.
The AI-native part matters. The goal is not to add a chat tool to the current process. Agents take the repetitive steps and the chasing between them, and your people keep the judgement, the relationships and the decisions. Anything that leaves the company, like an email to a customer, waits for a person’s approval.
The alternatives
How it differs from a consultancy, an integrator or an AI tool.
Strategy consultancies are good at deciding where AI should go and what the roadmap is. Systems integrators are good at rolling out large platforms across many teams. Both are built for that kind of work, and the build or the day-to-day running often sits with another team. Horizontal AI tools, such as company-wide chat and search assistants, give everyone faster answers. The process around those answers usually stays the same.
A deployment partner starts from one piece of work, changes it, and stays responsible for whether the agents do it to the standard.
How Ortelian works
Audit on site, agree the standard, build in two-week cycles.
Every engagement follows the same shape. The detail is on how we work.
- 01An audit on site, about two weeks
We observe the work and talk it through with the people who do it, and read the records in your systems and your written procedures. That shows the inputs, decisions, handoffs and exceptions, including the parts nobody wrote down. Then we find the constraint and redesign the process with your team.
- 02The standard, agreed before we build
Real examples of your work, including the messy ones, become evaluations. They track quality, cost, time and human effort. You leave the audit with a map of the work, the first build, the standard it must meet and a baseline to measure against.
- 03Build, test and deploy every two weeks
Each cycle has a clear scope. We build with your team, test on real examples and deploy what meets the standard, in the tools your team already uses. Every two weeks we review the results together and decide what comes next.
- 04Run it, with your team or for you
Workshops during the build prepare your team to own the work. After launch, they run it or we keep running it. Either way, we host and operate the platform, and the evaluations keep running on the work in use.
The platform
Agents work from a world model of your business.
Agents guess when they don’t know the business. So every engagement runs on Ortelian’s platform, where agents work from a world model for knowledge work: your systems of record joined with outside sources, organised by an ontology we define with you. Every fact keeps its source, and what one agent learns, the next can use. For a single task, an agent gets a context graph with only what that job needs.
Each agent gets only the tools its job needs. Every action is recorded with the sources behind it. Agents use models with zero data retention, and the platform is hosted in the EU. Ortelian hosts and operates it as part of the engagement, so there is nothing to license or set up on your side. You own your data and world model and can export both. More on the platform.
01 · Software
The code holds everything the work needs.
That’s why AI took off in software first.
02 · Internal knowledge
A wiki holds what the company writes down.
That’s enough for questions about the company itself.
03 · Knowledge work
Your work also depends on the world outside.
Customers, competitors, regulations, people moving. We join it with what’s inside, in one model.
Inside the company The world around it
Who it’s for
Companies whose work depends on context no single system holds.
We fit companies with complexity in their team, product, service or market. If a process is simple, an agent doesn’t need that context and you probably don’t need a partner like us. We work best with teams that want to become AI-native and are ready to move quickly, give feedback and put changes into practice.
You need an internal owner with the authority to make decisions, ideally a founder or someone on the leadership team, time with the people who do the work, and agreed access to the systems it depends on. We are based in Belgium and work on site with companies in Europe and the US. For one example of what this looks like in a single function, see AI agents for sales.
Questions
Questions buyers ask.
What is an AI-native deployment partner?
A firm that redesigns how a piece of work runs, then builds, deploys and operates the AI agents that do it, until the work meets a standard agreed before the build. The same team maps the work, builds the agents and stays to run them.
How is that different from an AI implementation partner or a systems integrator?
Many AI implementation partners and integrators connect a platform or deliver a project to a specification, and the running of it moves to someone else. An AI-native deployment partner starts by changing the work itself, sets the standard on real examples of your work, and stays responsible for the agents meeting it after launch.
Do we need to buy or set up a platform ourselves?
No. Access to Ortelian’s platform comes with the engagement. We host and operate it, and agents work inside the systems you already use, such as your CRM, Slack, Teams and email. There is no self-serve product. The platform is a monthly fee sized at the end of the audit, with unlimited users and no annual commitment.
Where is our data, and which models do agents use?
The platform is hosted in the EU. Agents use models with zero data retention, and your data is never used to train models. We agree access, model providers and data handling for your deployment before we start. You own your data and world model and can export both.
How long until the first agent is in use?
The audit takes about two weeks on site. The first build then runs in two-week cycles and goes live when it passes the evaluations we agreed. How many cycles that takes depends on the work and the sources it needs.
