OpenAI describes ChatGPT Work as able to plan, take action across your apps and files and work on projects that take hours. Codex gives developers an agent that works across codebases and prepares changes for review.

It also fits when you want admin control over who uses which agents and connected tools, and a vendor that supports the rollout. OpenAI offers a deployment playbook and training, hands-on support for eligible customers, and AI advisors for select customers rolling ChatGPT out across the organisation. It says business data is not used to train its models by default.
